Musings

Maybe you're wondering to yourself, what does the Village Idiot sell?

That's a good question and here at the gallery we are in the midst of deciding where we want to head with this place.

We've got all the basics checked off.

Great space.  check
Awesome neighbours.  check
Busy town.  check

{and most importantly}

Owner who likes to have fun.  check

There are already amazing antiques, furniture, pottery and art in the gallery.  Jewelry too.

But we'd like to mix it up, get a new vibe going.

The busy 'ordering bees' have been keeping the credit card handy and orders will start arriving in the coming weeks.

Make sure you pop by the Gallery and experience our unabashed quirkiness!

Because as you know, this is how we feel about quirky:

Here's to the crazy ones.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the
square holes.
The ones who see things
differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them,
disagree with them, quote them, glorify
or vilify them.
About the only thing
you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent.  They imagine.
They explore
They create.  They inspire.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at
an empty canvas and see a
work of art?
While some see them as crazy ones,
we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy
enough to think they can change the world,
are the ones that do.
